In this article I am going to talk about how you can get started on the Micro Niche Finder and begin searching for, as James’s Jones the creator of Micro Niche Finder put its, under the radar niche markets.

So lets begin. Let me start off by saying that the Micro Niche Finder is an extremely easy tool to use. All you have to do when starting off is to enter a “base keyword phrase” into the search box at the top of the program interface and click the search button. Within a matter of seconds, the micro niche finder will go straight to work at finding possible niche market keywords using your entered phrase as a starting point.

Let me explain to you what a base keyword phrase is. It can be a number of things such as –

1. Pre-term – A pre-term is a word or phrase that people use in combination with their specific keyword phrases and Micro Niche Finder will return up to 250 possible niche market keywords.

2. Product name – Enter the name of a product you’d like to promote and Micro Niche Finder will return narrow keywords related to that product.

3. Broad keyword phrase – You can enter a broad keyword phrase like car, credit card, football, fashion etc.. and the micro niche finder will return all sorts of niche keyword possibilities.

Now, after entering a search term of your choice and clicking the search button you will be taken to a screen showing the preliminary results of your search. I’m going to explain to you some of the search screen results by definition.

Phrase – these are the niche keyword or keyword phrases that will be returned based the term you entered. MNF will return 275 different phrases for every base term you enter.

Search count – This is the number of estimated searches performed for the given phrase per month.

Broad Match count – This is the number of web pages that are indexed in Google for the given broad match phrase. Bare in mind that this is the count returned by Google when a searcher enters a search phrase without quotes.

Exact phrase count – The number of web pages that are indexed in Google for the given exact phrase. This count is returned by clicking the “Get exact phrase count” link for each phrase. If you click on the “exact phrase count” column header you will cause the micro niche finder to sort the results in ascending order by exact phrase count. If you click the “exact phrase count” column header a second time, micro niche finder will sort the results in descending order by exact phrase count.

Step 2 – Choosing a Blogging Platform

There are dozens of blogs you can use, but I would advise you to use either Blogger or WordPress. Both have its advantages. Blogger is very simple to use and ideal for first time bloggers. Set up does not take you more than 1 hour and you have a blog ready to go. But do not expect too many features. WordPress on the other hand can offer you a lot more features and there are powerful plug-ins you can find online quite easily.

Name your blog after the target keyword to aim well in the search engines. For example, if your niche keyword is “how to create a blog”, then name your blog as howtocreateablog.blogspot.com.

Use nice graphics from some of the free graphics depositories or stock photo sites like Stock Vault, Every Stock Photo, PublicDomain Photos and so on to decorate your niche blog. If your affiliate program provides great looking banners or book covers, use them!

Step 3 – Creating Content for your Niche Blog

You need good unique content for your blog. Go to Google and search. Take notes at the top 10 websites listed in the search results. Look for at least 6 useful key points.

Now, split the 3 key points into 2. Use each group of 3 to create a single blog post in your own words. Each blog post should contain at least 150 to 200 words and contain the affiliate link to your product. Weave the links into your content so that it looks natural. Ok, now you have your posts ready.

Post the first post to your blog, an introduction post so it may start like “Hello and welcome to my ……blah blah”. Post the subsequent 2 posts at 4 to 5 hour intervals.

Step 4 – Promote Your Blog!

You are now ready to drive tons of traffic to your niche blog! Now, after each post you put on your blog, ping it at Pingomatic. This will announce it to the search engines to visit your site.

You want to also bookmark your posts at the top social bookmarking sites such as Del.icio.us, Stumbleupon, Digg and so on.

Do not forget to find a few blogs related to your niche through Google and start commenting on some of their posts. Target those with a high Page Rank and ranking well in the search engines. Also do the same at related forums.

Finally, write an article and post it to GoArticles and EzineArticles. And wait for targeted traffic and sales to start rolling from Day One. Repeat the traffic driving techniques at least once a week and your Page Rank and sales will grow!

Once you have ascertained that the basic market is worthwhile, you need to make sure that people are advertising in this sector. The easy way to do this is to go to Google and search for the term for your micro-niche, not the main niche. Are they any Adwords adverts on the right of the main entries? If the market is buoyant, there should be a whole column of them.
Next, you need to find affiliate products that fit the market, and fit it well. Always do things this way round, and you will succeed: find the market, then find the product to fit that market. Then get marketing!

6. Never fall in love with your niche. This is much more difficult than you might imagine when you first consider it. If your chosen niche is not working and you are unable to get a handle on how to fix it, get a divorce! Be ready to RE-niche at any time.
7. Be 100% certain that you can deliver on your stated position every time with every customer or prospect. If you say you provide a free written estimate, provide it in a clear professional way, not scrawled on the back of a lunch bag.
Overall, you need to consider what business you are really in or intend to start. You need to be darned good at something. Sounds simplistic? Consider the following examples:
IBM apparently lost track of what business they were really in. They stumbled badly until they re-niched and recast themselves as selling business solutions rather than just computer hardware.
Kinkos started out as a tremendously successful copy shop filled with do-it-yourself photocopy machines. They evolved into being your branch office and teamed up with FedEx to expand their services to small businesses and entrepreneurs.
These and many other examples show that successful niching requires an initial laser-beam focus as well as the ability to change and evolve in these fast-moving times. You need to decide not just what you are going to do or offer as well as what you are not going to do or offer.

That’s important. You get all the names and contact information to add to your niche list while others who are only affiliates interested in making a buck just funnel your clients your way for you to take care of them. . . Believe me; most affiliates never take ownership of what they are selling.
If you want to make money in niche marketing you need to take advantage of good affiliate products as well as create your own, yet treat all products as if you were the creator, because your lists is counting on you to be totally informed about what you are advising them to buy.
