Tim Brady from Credo Group Recognised as Young Business Achiever For Workforce Mobilisation Services

Tim Brady from Credo Group Recognised as Young Business Achiever For Workforce Mobilisation Services

(PRWEB) February 28, 2010

Credo Group Managing Director and Founder Tim Brady has been honoured with a 40under40 business award which recognises outstanding young entrepreneurs.

The Credo Group, headed by CEO Tim Brady has also been named as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in BRW Magazine’s Fast 100 companies for 2008 and 2009.

“My mother was one of 12 children and my father was raised in the bush by entrepreneurial parents. I was fortunate to come from a supportive and Christian environment as part of a large extended family and these factors have formed my values framework,” said Mr Brady.

A former accountant and national sales director for a recruitment agency, Mr Brady identified a niche in the market for workforce mobilisation services with a strong values based culture.

“We have strong working partnerships with organisations such as Salvation Army Employment Plus and Mission Employment providing opportunities for long-term unemployed people,” said Mr Brady.

Credo translates to mean trust in Latin and its values are credibility, reliability, efficiency, diligence and opportunity. It has an annual turnover of more than $ 20 million dollars and has experienced average growth of 60 per cent over the past three years.

“In line with our company’s values, specifically ‘opportunity’, we set up the Aspire program to develop our employees to their full potential and give back to the community. For example, our partnership with the Sacred Heart Mission assists the homeless by providing them with hot meals every day of the year,” Mr Brady said.

“We actively encourage and enable our employees to volunteer on company time to work in the market garden whose produce is supplied to the Sacred Heart Mission soup kitchen. Our team assists in setting up wire fencing, laying water drip systems and weeding. Another group of our employees stand side by side with veteran volunteers and prepare and serve a hot lunch for the homeless,” Mr Brady said.

Credo has offices in Perth and Melbourne with clients such as Wesfarmers, Woolworths and the giant China Metallurgical Group Corporation.

“The maxims which have motivated me to succeed in my personal and professional life are derived from my values, they are “no pain no gain” and “there has got to be a better way,” Mr Brady said.

Business Niches – Niche Marketing Vs Internet Marketing Niche

Business Niches – Niche Marketing Vs Internet Marketing Niche

Business niches – niche marketing vs. internet marketing niche. Niche marketing means buying or selling a product or service in a special area of demand. All that really means is that a product or service is being sold to the people who are most interested in that particular product or service and not to the world in general.

Oftentimes big businesses use niche marketing. For example, a company that makes computers and computer accessories might advertise all-in-one copy/printer/scanners to the home computer user while at the same time advertising single function machines to large businesses.

One of the things that make niche marketing so attractive to sellers is that their advertising budgets go further. It costs less to advertise to a specialized market than it does to advertise to a broader market.

Niche marketing must be designed to meet the unique needs of the targeted audience. Niche marketers must tailor their product to meet those unique needs. If, for example, you have designed a product to make poodle grooming easy enough for the untrained professional to do it, those who own poodles will be most interested in your product. Those who own Blood Hounds or cats couldn’t care less. If you have written an e-book that will explain how to start and succeed at an online business, those who are looking for that information are your niche market. Those who are happy doing what they are doing are not interested at all.

Niche marketing and an Internet Marketing niche are both forms of Internet  marketing .

The term ‘niche marketing’ means selling a specific product to a specific type of buyer. There are far less competitive niches than an Internet marketing niche.  Most niche markets are more open to the latest marketing strategies, as well. Small niche markets are not over stocked with gurus and wise men and are much easier for the beginning marketer to break into. A niche market allows you to promote your own niche product or that of a niche affiliate product. There is a niche market for anything and everything you can imagine. All it takes to break into a niche market is a good idea, a good product created by you or someone else that will appeal to certain people, some advertising and the desire to succeed.

The Internet marketing niche, on the other hand, means that you will be promoting your own Internet marketing product. This is a very crowded field of endeavor and really difficult to break into. It’s a world filled with gurus and wise men who have been playing and winning the game for a long time. This doesn’t mean that it is impossible to cash in on the Internet marketing niche because, of course, you can. It is a world still built on demand and that means that if you have a product that can compete and if you have the willingness to play hard ball with the big boys then you can succeed at the Internet marketing niche game.  Just be aware that there are easier niche market nuts to crack.

Business niches – niche marketing vs. internet marketing niche. Niche marketing is a very effective and cost efficient way to advertise and sell specific products or services to a specific audience or, hopefully, buyers of that product or service.

Ebay Selling Becomes A Popular Home-Based Business

Ebay Selling Becomes A Popular Home-Based Business

(PRWEB) August 6, 2005

A recent ACNielsen survey found that 724,000 Americans operate eBay businesses and depend upon eBay sales as their primary source of income.

“Home-based businesses have always been popular, but the Internet opens up new opportunities for people who want to work from home,” says Peter Hupalo, author of “Getting Rich In Your Underwear: How To Start And Run A Profitable Home-Based Business.” (http://www.hcmpublishing.com)

Ebay businesses are popular because it’s relatively easy to get started selling products on eBay. However, Hupalo advises that just because a business is easy to start doesn’t mean it offers the best opportunity for an entrepreneur.

“One disadvantage to selling on eBay is that you’re essentially a specialized retailer. You might focus upon one niche, such as golf or antiques. Or you might seek products, maybe software, at a discount and resell it. But, you constantly need to find inventory that is marketable. While it’s easy to get started, it’s likely to be a highly-competitive area in the future,” observes Hupalo.

Hupalo says some of the biggest beneficiaries of online retailing are established niche companies which can sell their products on eBay or amazon.com or other mega-online vendors.

“Ebay and Amazon.com offer vendors the opportunity to sell from their hugely popular Websites. This has rejuvenated many struggling catalog niche sellers who previously relied on direct-mail catalog sales. But, direct mail has become very expensive,” Hupalo noted.

Small craft manufacturers who sell direct to consumers have also found eBay valuable. While many niche companies have their own websites, many of these websites are relatively obscure and aren’t likely to be discovered by people searching google.com and other search engines. Ebay and Amazon.com offer better product exposure.

“For those who sell items they don’t manufacture, it’s good to have the skill of an appraiser. Knowing what something’s worth helps in maximizing its profit. Ebay, itself, is actually a good tool to estimate the value of used items. See what similar items sell for. For example, before eBay, many people paid several thousand dollars for entry-level 16mm film cameras. The sort used by film students. But, eBay has shown that the auction price is actually much less that originally thought. In this way, eBay empowers consumers and buyers,” says Hupalo.

Regardless of the type of online business an individual starts, the basics of operating a business from home are the same. Entrepreneurs will need to learn about basic recordkeeping, business taxes, and product fulfillment.

Internet and Online Business ? The Basics of Finding Niche Markets

Internet and Online Business ? The Basics of Finding Niche Markets

Finding niche markets, especially the feasible ones, can be tricky. However, you can never get it out of the picture because just like with traditional marketing, market research is one vital step. The problem is that those that can be easily penetrated are flooded already; and those which you can somehow be a pioneer of can be difficult to enter. This is especially true in online marketing, where setting up a business is relatively easy, and has consequently made competition intense.

You would most likely bump into articles informing you to ‘conduct market research’. What does market research entail anyway? While market research sounds like something only bigwig survey companies tackle (which they do), you can also carry out the basic steps.

1. The first step in finding niche markets involves generating niche ideas. You may opt for something you are very interested in. For example, if you are a woodworking hobbyist, you may want to setup a woodworking website complete with databases and blogs with pictures of your current projects or pictures of winners of woodworking design competitions. If you have recently fought a winning battle against weight gain, you may want to join the weight loss niche. Then, you can join affiliate programs through Clickbank or by directly approaching the company you want to be affiliated with.

2. The next step is conducting market demographic analysis. Don’t worry; you won’t have to do intricate statistical analysis. You have to engage in product research and target market research. You need to know the buyer profile, such as the age groups and gender it would appeal to and the locations, or regions of the target market. Analyzing demographics in market research is the key to product positioning.

3. Lastly, you need to conduct keyword research. This is vital in online business operations. Fact is, search engines provide free, targeted traffic. You need to find out which keywords bring traffic. There are free tools that are easily available online. This can get difficult because there is heavy competition for keywords that bring in loads of traffic. You may find hundreds and even thousands of affiliate marketers ranking for the same keywords. What you can do is choose one that is mid level – those which could bring in a good number of customers without too much competition.

Online marketing always starts with finding niche markets. Choose your niche wisely and formulate your promotional campaigns and overall marketing strategy around that particular market niche.
