Veteranised habitat tree at Varsity Lakes Gold Coast a declining Lophostemon suaveolens with large numbers of habitat hollows, currently providing a home for at least one group of Myiagra cyanoleuca ~ satin flycatchers. These kinds of trees provide important habitat niches for a large range of organisms many too small for us to easily identify.
